Aristide Antonas is architect and writer, currently based in Athens and Berlin, principal in the Antonas office (nominee for a Mies Van der Rohe award, 2009 and for a Iakov Chernikov Prize, 2011). His theoretical texts are mostly published on the Internet; his literature is published at Agra Publications (Athens) and jrp-ringier (Zurich).

Ben van Berkel is the Co-Founder and Principal Architect of UNStudio in Amsterdam and Shanghai. Currently he is Professor Conceptual Design at the Staedelschule in Frankfurt and was recently awarded the Kenzo Tange Visiting Professor’s Chair at Harvard University Graduate School of Design.

> Patrik Schumacher

Dr Patrik Schumacher is a partner at Zaha Hadid Architects and the co-author of most key projects. He joined Zaha Hadid in 1988 and has been seminal in developing Zaha Hadid Architects to become a 450 strong global architecture and design brand. In 1996 he founded the “Design Research Laboratory” at the Architectural Association in London and continued to teach in what has become one of the world’s most prestigious architecture programs. He is lecturing worldwide and has been a Guest Professor in many prestigious schools of architecture, and recently held the John Portman Chair in Architecture at Harvard’s Graduate School of Design. Over the years he has contributed over 80 articles to architectural journals and anthologies. In 2008 he coined the phrase Parametricism and had since published a series of manifestos promoting Parametricism as the new epochal style for the 21st century. In 2010/2012 Patrik Schumacher published his two-volume theoretical opus magnum “The Autopoiesis of Architecture”. His writings are available on www.patrikschumacher.com.

CORE Architects Inc. is an award-winning group of architects and interior designers based in Toronto. Core Architects is a firm founded by Babak Eslahjou, Charles Gane, and Deni Poletti in 1994. It is a design philosophy that focuses on creativity, innovation and sustainability; and a business vision that is client-focused, striving to maximize efficiency while meeting schedule and budgetary constraints. Babak Eslahjou was educated in Europe and the United States, he received his Bachelor of Architecture in 1986. Charles Gane was born in Niagara Falls. He studied at Carleton University and graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture in 1983. Deni Poletti studied architecture at University of Toronto, and received a Bachelor of Architecture degree in 1986. Since our inception, CORE has been responsible for the design of over 150 condominiums projects, 55 of which are in the downtown core of Toronto; the urban-master planning for over 200 million square feet of residential development; numerous private residences, and a number of recreational and sports clubs, restaurants, hotels, resorts, office environments and over 1500 retail rollouts, across Canada, the U.S., and internationally. Beginning in 2001, CORE Architects entered the international market in the Middle East in Dubai and in the Caribbean.
